Gabriele Miracle

Graduated with honors in percussion from the Conservatory of Pérougia in Italy, Gabriele has focused on studying ancient music. He has collaborated with the Micrologus Ensemble in recordings and performances in Italy and abroad. He has worked on projects with artists such as Lina Sastri, Giovanna Marini, Daniele Sepe, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso.

Over the years, he has performed as a percussionst and arranged the rhythmic score for numerous solosists and ancient music groups: Turchini di Toni Florio, Concerto Romano d'Alessandro Quarta, Angelo Branduardi, Private Musicke, Pierre Pitzl, Magdalena Kozena, La Pifarescha, Soqquadro Italiano, Barocchisti de Diego Fasolis, Cecilia Bartoli, Medusa de Patrizia Bovi, Bassifondi de Simone Vallerotonda.

Having always been interested in composition and arranging, he has participated in a number of theater and dance projects with Lilli Greco and Lucio Gregoretti. Il wrote the music for the "Vedova scaltra" produced by Lina Wertmuller, and he worked on the musical arranges of the performance "Jonas" by Domenico Castaldo.

Since 2007, as an interpreter, composer, and arranger, he has collaborated with the choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui in the production of Mythe (2007), Babel (2010) awarded best show in Danse of the Year, Play (2010) in collaboration with the Indian dancer Shantala Shivalingappa, and 4D (2013), taking part in world tours of each show. He has composed, in collaboration with the French-Israeli group Winter Family, the music for the choreography of Les méduses and Yama by the Belgian choreographer Damien Jalet.

In 2012, he released his first solo work Miracle - L'argento e la magia produced by Lilli Greco. In 2015, he composed the music for the show Dionysos by Antonella Arnese - Société Dansehabile Genève.
