Like the infinite undulations of waves, history repeats itself...

Mesogeios is a creation for peace in the Mediterranean, in homage to those whose crossing took on another dimension.

ODO turns back time, and takes us to the XIV century, to Ravenna Italy, a highly strategic place of exchange in the Middle Ages.

In a context marked by struggle, the music invites us to travel throughout the Medieval Mediterranean, to meet women and their music from Andalusia to Levant.

This music is the feminine expression of universal experiences, coming from another time, in which the sincerity of their message holds true even today.

With Mesogeios, ODO covers the Mediterranean with these female songs which have traversed Antiquity and the Middle Ages, throughout commercial exchanges and different invasions:

Codex Rossi, saltarelles, songs of the crusades, songs from troubadours, arab-andalusian music, traditional Sardinian songs, Sephardic, Egyptian lullabies, Pharafonic songs, Melchites, turcs...

Civilizations cross from the North to the South, from the Orient to the Occident, from yesterday to today...

As the winds of history blow, the song of roses invites us aboard...
