Dimitri Boekhoorn
Dutch, doctor es Celtic Studies, he holds a thesis on the Celtic Bestiary in the Middle Ages.

He has been playing traditional music from the Celtic countries, early music, as well as his own compositions since 1988.
​
Mainly self-taught, he uses the nails like the medieval Irish, Scottish and Welsh "harpers", especially on metal strings. Invited to several festivals in Europe, he regularly performs as a soloist with a multitude of modern and ancient harps.
Dimitri also collaborates with groups of traditional and ancient music. His project with a Gaelic harp with solid gold strings was the subject of a program on France Culture.
