Shadi Fathi

Born in 1977 in Tehran, from a Kurdish family, Shadi Fathi trained in setar with Ostad Dariush Tala'i, great master of tar and setar. She became a concert soloist at the age of fifteen. To perfect her knowledge, she studied zarb with Arash Farhangfar and daf with Mehrdad Karim-Khavari, in line with the Ghaderiyeh brotherhood of Iranian Kurdistan.

 

In 2002, she moved to France and joined many projects (music, dance, theatre) which she enriched
of his practice of Persian classical music.
